Behavioral Health Technician

Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Behavioral Health Technician will include:

* Supervising and supporting clients’ daily activities, including wake-up, meal assistance, and more.

* Facilitating transportation for clients to appointments and activities.

* Monitoring client behavior, intervening as necessary, and documenting observations.

* Conducting UA drug screenings following proper protocols.

* Supporting client intakes, discharges, and medication supervision.

* Ensuring the safety and security of the facility with regular checks and inspections.

* Preparing meals and maintaining kitchen cleanliness when required.

*Facilitating assigned group sessions and meetings.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

* California Driver’s License with insurable driving record.

* At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment settings (preferred).

* Registered or certified as an alcohol drug counselor/technician (RADT, BHT, or Peer Support certification preferred).

* Knowledge of EHR systems (preferred).

* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Shift Availability:

Overnight, Night, and Day shifts available.
