FEDERAL AGENTS
Mental health and trauma treatment for federal agents — FBI, Border Patrol, DEA, ATF, and federal law enforcement.
Available 24/7 · Private · No contact with your agency
Federal law enforcement operates in environments that produce specific and sustained forms of trauma — investigative, covert, humanitarian crisis, border operations. The isolation, secrecy, and scope of what you witness rarely comes with adequate support structures.
Federal agents come to After Action for:
Your experience is specific. Your treatment should match it.
The security clearance concern stops most federal agents from seeking help. Here's what you need to know:
Voluntarily seeking confidential mental health treatment from a licensed clinical facility does not automatically jeopardize a security clearance. In fact, proactively seeking care is widely recognized as responsible self-management — not a liability.
We recommend consulting your agency's EAP or legal counsel on clearance-specific questions. When you're ready: one confidential call starts the process.
Your call, your records, and your treatment are completely private. We do not contact your agency, department, chain of command, or employer — ever — unless you direct us to in writing.
Distance shouldn't be a barrier. If you need help covering the cost of your flight to and from treatment, ask us — we'll work with you to make it happen.
Your dedicated caseworker manages all FMLA paperwork, short-term disability claims, and any other documentation required — so you can focus entirely on getting well.
We know that picking up the phone takes everything. Here's what to expect — no surprises, no pressure.
If you're not ready to talk yet, that's okay too. Schedule a free consultation on your own timeline.

Sometimes the people who need help most are the last ones to reach out. If you're reading this for someone you love, you're already doing something important.
First responders experience stigma around mental health that most people never face — the fear that asking for help means losing their badge, their rank, or the respect of the people they work alongside. That fear is real. It's also a barrier that doesn't have to stand.
You can call on their behalf. We'll talk through what you're seeing and what options exist. What happens next is their decision — but you don't have to figure it out alone.
